Geraldine Allison Lamb

Geraldine Allison Lamb, 77, of Del Rio, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at the Val Verde Regional Medical Center in Del Rio.

Locally, she leaves a brother: Jimmy Allison of Paris; and two sister: Evora Hill of Cottage Grove and Lina Nash of Paris.

Services are planned at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Jerry Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery near Cottage Grove.

Named as pallbearers are John Dunlap, Marty Allison, Charles and Joey Nash, Grant Cathey and Mike Philipi.

Visitation is set from 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday.

Born June 19, 1925, in Waverly, she was a daughter Charles and Sally O'Guinn Allison, both deceased.

A homemaker, she was married Dec. 24, 1945, to Daniel Luther Lamb, Sr., who died Nov. 11, 1994.

She also leaves two sons: Daniel L. (Jimmie) Lamb Jr. of Waverly and David D. (Alicia) Lamb of San Antonio, Texas;

One daughter: Minnie Mae (Willie) Mason of Del Rio; one other sister: Clister Smith of Waverly;

Four grandchildren: Pricilla Lamb and David Lamb Jr., both of San Antonio, Gary (Mary) Van Aken of California and Matthew (Paula) Van Aken of New York; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Pat and Newt Allison; and three sisters: Odessa Cathey, Roberta Triplett and Juanita Allison.
