Weeden Green died at the home of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. H.N. Green at 11 o'clock Thursday morning as the result of nervous prostration. He was thirty one years old. He was reared here and attended high school in Decatur for two years. He then entered Purdue University where he graduated. For six years he was in the employ of the Western Electric company at Dallas, Tex. He came home ill last spring and never recovered.The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the family residence. The train leaves Decatur for LaPlace at 12:45 p.m. and leaves LaPlace at 3:30 p.m. A brother, Don, also survives with the parents. Decatur Review Dec 26, 1913 p11
