Miss Clara Beers of Coalport, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 1969 , at Clearhaven, Clearfield , after a lengthy illness. She was horn at Chetek, Wisc., April 29, 1876 , the daughter of John and Lucinda (Gates) Beers.
She is survived by-a sister, Mrs. Bertha Smyers of the , Alberta Convalescent home, Altoona .
Miss Beers was a 50-year charter member of Ellen Wilson Rebekah Lodge 566 and a member of the WSCS and the Willing Workers Class of Christ United Methodist Church and POA Camp 187, all of Coalport.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Bell Funeral Home, Coalport.
