Alfred J. Eash formerly of 424 8th ave, died Sunday, Sept.20th at the Marshalltown Manor. Services were held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Persel-Davies Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dobson Cemetery East of Marshalltown.
He was born Dec. 30th, in Tama County to Charles and Nettie (Kesley) Eash. He grew up in Tama and Marshallcounties.
He married Violet Perkins March 21st, 1931. He worked as a crane operator with Gervich and Sons for 44 years, retiring in 1971.
He was preceded in death by his wife, violet in 1991, a daughter Bonnie Bulanek, a son Robert Sr. and three brothers.
Survivors include a son Jerry Eash, Marshalltown, a daughter Marilyn Gardner, Marshalltown ; two brothers, Tim Marshalltown, and William, Gilman, three sisters, Maxine (Mrs. Earl) Spence, Marshalltown, and Bernice Honeck, State Center and Alma Ogan, Grinnell; 14grandchildern, and 18 great-grandchildern.
