Van- Funderal services for Mrs. Mable Bell Swain, 59, of Van, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Van Baptist Church with Rev. John Crafton & the Rev. Lewie Barron officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Memories Cemetery under direction of Hillard Funeral Home. Mrs. Swain died Tuesday morning at her home in Van after a long illness. Born in Boone, Iowa, she was secretray in the Van Zandt County judge for 16 years and was a member of the Van Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Osie Swain of Van; three sisters, Mrs. J. T. Lambert & Miss Marie Cole, both of Canton, & Mrs Geneva Stein of Des Moine, Iowa; two step-sons, Billy Jack Peach of Canton & Billy Swain of Freeport; & one step-daughter, Mrs James Caperton of Lake Charles, LA.
Pallbearers will be Treutt Mayo, Frank Futrell, Jack Riecy, B. W. Ward, T. J. Cox & R. C. Blackstock.
