John Thomas Dobbs Dies Tuesday at Honey Grove

Funeral services for John Thomas Dobbs, 71, who died Tuesday, were set for 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at First Christian Church. The Rev. T. J. Watts, Baptist pastor, and the Rev. C. C. Klingman, Christian Church pastor, had charge, Cooper's Funeral Home making burial in Oakwood Cemetery.

Named as pallbearers were Jack Self, Dan Baker, E. A. Barker, Eldon Long, Tom Alexander and Byron Till.

Mr. Dobbs, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jabe Dobbs, was boron in Arkansas, Dec. 18, 1879.

Surviving are his wife and these children: Miss Yvonne Dobbs, Miss Marjorie Dobbs and Mrs. Jack Shelton, Honey Grove; Mrs. Robert Busby, Abilene, and Steve J. Dobbs, Lubbock; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Newberry, Honey Grove; give grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
