Anna Mae Hambrick, 75, of Paragould, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born June 7, 1928, in Charleston, Mo. She was a retired nursing assistant and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Arthur and Rosetta Blagg Murray. Survivors include two sons, Buster Hambrick of Arbyrd, Mo., and John Hambrick, Jr., of Paragould; three daughters, Joan Gross and Rosetta Jones, both of Paragould, and Peggye Hambrick of Panama City, Fla.; one brother, Charles Murray of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Joyce Bishop of St. Louis and Mabel Ward of Paragould; two stepsons, Dave Hambrick of Marietta, Ga., and Alvin Hambrick of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one stepdaughter, Doris Mills of Morehouse, Mo.; four grandsons, three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Greene County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jesse Dollars officiating and under the direction of Heath Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 until noon Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Foundation or to the charity of the giver's choice.
