Jacky Edward Johnson, 59, of Brunswick, GA died Saturday (Dec. 16, 2006) at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick following a brief illness.
He was born in Glynn Co., GA and his parents were James Edward and Annie Lucille Proctor Johnson. He is also, preceded in death by his son, Christopher Michael Johnson and his brother, James Clyde Johnson.
He worked at Hercules as a Lab Tech and was a car salesman.
He is survived by 2 sons, Charles Edward Johnson of Glennville, GA and Robert Eugene Johnson of Nahunta, GA; 3 grandchildren, Brittany Michelle Johnson, Christopher Michael Johnson and Austin Christopher Johnson; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday evening starting at 6 p.m. at Chambless-Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
Funeral services will be Friday morning (Dec. 22, 2006) at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Chambless-Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Marden officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Brenson, Brandon Brenson, Ronnie McCormick, Danny Tucker, Jimmy Devlin, Wayne Floyd, Speedy Tostison, Rick Spaulding and Russell Tucker.
