Naomi Mae Horne Briggs, 82, of Piedmont, went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 11, 2009.
Born in Kannapolis, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Albert Cleveland and Grace Freeman Horne.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Naomi is survived by one sister; two sons; two daughters; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy Lee Briggs.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 16, 2009, in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home at 1 p.m., with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
