Cindy Kay Wilson Curtis, 37, of Thatcher, Arizona died December 16, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona after complications following back surgery.

She was born August 14, 1971, to James "Jim" and Ruth Wilson of Benson, Arizona. She graduated from Benson High School in 1989 and obtained an associate degree from Eastern Arizona College in 2008.

Cindy moved to the Gila Valley in 1991 and has been a resident ever since. She married Michael Curtis of Thatcher in 1993, and they have four children, Makaila, JD, Alayna and Chandler.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; her children, Makaila, JD, Alayna and Chandler, all of Thatcher; parents James "Jim" and Ruth Wilson of Benson; sister Christina (Shawn) Holcomb of Houston,Texas; and brother Raymond (Lori) Wilson of Maricopa, Arizona.

Services were held Dec. 20 at the Thatcher Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and were conducted by Bishop Steve Daley. Serving as casket bearers were Raymond Wilson, David Wilson, Tim Dillon, Patrick Cahill, James Bryce and Jim Lutz.

Concluding services were at the Central, Arizona Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Caldwell Funeral Chapel, Safford, Arizona.
