Estis Harold Ridgley was the son of Roy Everett Ridgley and Sarah "Sadie" J Earnst. He was married to Laura.

Estis Howard Ridgley enlisted on 22 May 1942 in East St Louis, IL., U.S. World War II Army.

His Civil Occupation was Skilled mechanics and repairman, motor vehicles and was married.

Estis H. Ridgley, 62, Sumner, died after a long illness Wednesday at 11:55 a.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Ind.

Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Sumner Cemetery with the Rev. Grant Cummins presiding. Sivert Funeral Home, Sumner, is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitations. Mr. Ridgley will be fiven full military honors by the Bridgeport American Legion Post 62.

He was born in Bridgeport, Aug. 31, 1917, son of Roy E. and Sadie (Earnest) Ridgley. He married Maxine Roney, who survives him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, John Hess, Portage, Ind. and David Hess, California; two brothers, Donald, Olney, and Floyd, Orlando, Fla.; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Marjorie Davis and Laura Hess, and a daughter, Millie Hess.

A retired self-employed auto mechanic, he was a member of the Bridgeport American Legion Post and the Moose Lodge.
