Barbara Martin Ashley, 71, widow of Dennis Aubrey Ashley, of 114 Sunset Drive died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005 at Anderson Area Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of Sudie Jordan Ellison and the late Clarence Lee Martin. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and a homemaker.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Berry Ashley of Belton; and a sister, Louise Spearman of Piedmont.
In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Ashley.
Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Belton City Cemetery with Dr. Mitch Brooks, and the Revs. Dwight Greene and Leon Porter officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Cox Funeral Home.
The families are at their respective homes.
Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church or AnMed Health Care.
