Diana M. Powell, 47, a resident of 1797 Co. Rte. 28, Pulaski, NY, died unexpectedly January 18, 2009. She was born in Oswego and graduated from Oswego High School. She had been a resident of Pulaski for the past 15 years. Diana was assistant program coordinator for Oswego County Solid Waste. She was a loving wife and mother; she enjoyed sewing and was a hockey mom. Diana was a member of Port City Faith Assembly of God Church. Surviving are her parents, Richard V. and Vonda L. (Redinger) Ketcham of Oswego; her husband, Mark Powell Jr. of Pulaski; one daughter, Rachel N. Powell of Pulaski; four sons, Josh R. (Ashley) Somers of Pulaski, Christopher M. Powell of Rochester, Franklin D. Powell of Pulaski and Jadon E. Powell of Pulaski; one brother, Richard V. (Sunshine) Ketcham of Ithaca, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Port City Faith Assembly of God Church. Spring burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
