MURRIETA - Olin "Oly" Edward Ruff II died Friday in Columbia, MD., of a heart attack. He was 55.
He was born May 11, 1937, in Long Beach and was the project administrator for Hughes Aircraft for 30 years. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and had live in Clairemont for 25 years prior to his move to Murrieta three years ago. He was a member of the Fallbrook Youth Soccer Club and coached soccer for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carol A. Ruff of Murrieta; his mother, Nell Ruff of Santa Ana; three children, Shellie R. Fuller of San Diego; Olin Edward Ruff III of Pasadena and Roxanne Maria Ruff of Murrieta; four sisters, Nell Maria Baker of San Diego; Billie M. Ruth of Oxnard, Rosaline Moore of Santa Ana and Deborah L. Filbin of Irvine; one brother, Calvin P. Ruff of Alta Loma; and one grandchild.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Berry-Bell & Hall Chapel, Fallbrook, with Pastor Matthew Seargeant of the United Methodist Church of Fallbrook, officiating. Interment will follow at the Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary.
