LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. - Alice Eleanor (Groff) Pennybacker, 93, Brenham, Texas, died Monday, June 4, 2007, at Kruse Lutheran Village in Brenham.
She taught home economics in Illinois high schools from 1941 until her retirement in 1975.
Her husband, Virgil Pennybacker, is deceased.
Survivors include a stepson, Bill Pennybacker of Brenham; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sumner City Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral Home.
