Ms. Donovan was born Dec. 19, 1929, in the Philippines and was a daughter of the late Leo and Marion Donovan.
She was a member of St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church and was actively involved in equestrian activities at Camp Strawderman.
She is survived by five sons, Timothy Newton Munson of LaCrescenta, Calif., Thomas Bishop Munson of Crozet, Terrell Minor Munson of Vacaville, Calif. and Michael Charles Munson and Christopher Bruce Munson of Luray; a daughter, Jennifer Munson Mustain of Cold Springs, Nev.; a sister, Nancy Nestel of Longmeadow, Mass.; and eight grandchildren.
Father William Aitcheson will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Burial will follow at the Mount Jackson Cemetery.
