Maranda was the wife of Henry Martin b. 1832. When she died in 1881, leaving him with 7 boys, he married her sister, Eliza Gebhart Underwood a year later. Henry and Eliza are buried at Pleasant Mound Church of Christ Cemetery, a mile east of Georgetown.
