Ebba Christensen Kleinman Staniec, 96, died Aug. 12, 2003 at the Carriage House in Snowflake after a long illness.

She was born to Danish immigrant parents, Oscar and Lena Christensen, Dec. 1, 1906 and was a lifelong Mesa resident. Ebba attended Mesa schools and ASU. She was married to Heber Kleinman, and she leaves behind her two sons, John and Richard. Ebba later married Edward R. Staniec. She lost her son Richard in 1972 and Edward in 1996. She retired as chief payroll clerk at Williams Air Force Base.

Ebba is survived by her son John Kleinman (Sandi); sisters, Edna Titcomb and Evelyn Pew; seven grandchildren; eight great-greatgrandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass was held Tuesday, Aug. 19 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1551 E. Dana Ave in Mesa. Burial followed at the City of Mesa Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ebba's name to RTA Hospice, 5658 Hwy 260, Suite 5, Lakeside, AZ 85929.
