Pete was a resident of Gilliam for most of his life. He was a member of the Hosston Methodist Church and a former member of the LRCA. He loved to rodeo, hunt and fish, and spending time with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his father Grady E. Farrar and his brother James M. "Freck" Farrar.
He is survived by his wife; Lynn Adger Farrar of Gilliam, his children; Karen Farrar Johnson of Benton, LA, Ralph Terrell Farrar Jr. of Vivian, Russell Eugene Farrar of Vivian, Molly Farrar Usrey and husband Tom of Shreveport, step daughter Erin LeBrocq of Shreveport, and adopted kids Lane Adger Jr. and Amanda Adger Thomas, his mother; Blanche Young of Rayville, LA, his grandchildren; Sam, Justin, Sydney, Jordan, Dylan and Cheyenne, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jack Adger, Lane Adger, Andy Adger, Justin Bolton, Sam LeMoine and Jim Farrar. Honorary pallbearer is Hank Adger.
