Wylie L. Stone, a retired farmer in the Clardy community died at McCuistion Regional Medical Center Friday, 7 Aug 1981.
Funeral services were held Sunday, 9 Aug at the Grant Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery. L.C. Stout and Kenneth Short officiated.
Mr. Stone was born in Clardy on 17 Feb 1896, a son of Bill and Betty Ward Stone.
He married Estelle Hughes in Oct., 1918.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Marguerite) Butler and Mrs. Bob (Jackie) Alsobrook, both of Paris; three brothers, Mike Stone of Paris, Hershel Stone and Rant Stone, both of Clardy; five grandchildren, Linda Hopcus, Kathy Guy, Ruth Ann Alsobrook, Susan Kennedy and Bruce Alsobrook; and two great grandchildren, Aaron Hopcus and Honey Kennedy.
