ATLANTA, Texas -- Ola Gildon, 84, of Bright Star, Texas, died Monday in an Atlanta hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hanner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial was in Olive Branch Cemetery.
Mrs. Gildon was born Feb. 17, 1900, in Miller County, Ark.
Survivors include two daughters, Rheba Wilson of Vivian, La., and Elouise Ginnings of Queen City, Texas; one brother, Woodrow Busbee of Atlanta; two sisters, Evie Smith and Cleo Smith, both of Atlanta; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
