Clayton Speicher of Ionia but formerly of Lake Odessa, died suddenly Wednesday forenoon while helping unload a box car of chloride after only a few days work for the Road commission. Complaining that he did not feel well his companions assisted him to the floor of the car where he died a few minutes later before a physician could be summoned.
He was 42 years of age and unmarried, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Speicher of south Ionia. Besides his parents he leaves a brother Cassie Speicher of Lansing, and a sister, Mrs. Jay Swiger of Lake Odessa.
