Merced Rancher To Be Buried To-day
MERCED, Oct. 31 - William Freeland Henten, 52, British Colony Ranch, who died at his home Friday following a brief illness, will be buried in the Henten family plot in the Mountain View Cemetery at Fresno Tuesday afternoon following funeral services at the Ivers and Alcorn parlors in Merced at 1 o'clock.
Henten, a native of Missouri, had lived in California for the last eight years, having come to the Merced region from Riverside four years ago. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Viola Henten; five children, Ralph Henten of Fresno, Zelma and Hazel Henten of Kerman, Margaret and Wylma Jean Henten of Merced; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Henten of Kerman; three brothers, Ernest, Cash and Clarance Henten of Fresno; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Wilson of Fresno and Mrs. Annie Wright of Texas.
