Jean McAfee Gray, 77, of Corsicana, died Dec 13, 1993. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Corley Funeral Chapel with Dr. David Hale officiating. Burial will be in the Pattison Cemetery in Emhouse.
She was born July 10, 1916 in Corsicana. She also was a member of the Emhouse Baptist Church and was the former postmaster in Emhouse. She also was a member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 128 and the Veterans of Foreign War Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband A. C. Gray and her sister, Jane Brewer.
Survivors include five daughters, Peggy Blackwell and Gayle Horton, both of Corsicana, Patsy Melton of Midlothian, Billie Owen of Hawkins and Betty Eastland of Carthage; two sisters, Florine Gray of Corsicana and Marcialete Hettig of of Houston; two brothers, Joe McAfee of Blum and Bobby McAfee of Houston; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Alan Brown, Tony Melton, Brian Melton, Dwayne Owen, toby Eastland, Scott Eastland, Billy H. Horton, Jr., Stanley Hortn, Chris Owen and James Hall.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
