Clyde J. Hayden was a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He was a causualty of World War II. He was on Mission 35 out of Foggia, Italy enroute to Regensburg, Germany when his B-17 "Tadlur II" was shot down.
Veterans Adminstration records show that Lt. Clyde J. Hayden was initially interred in 1944 in Margraten-Aachen, Holland. He was re-interred in Zachory Taylor National Cemeterey along with 2 other American casualites of World War II on February 24, 1950.
