Second Lieutenant, 753rd Bomb Squadron, 458th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.

Bombardier aboard B-24J Liberator #42-100341.
On a mission to Munich out of RAF Horsham Saint Faith/USAAF Station 123, England, was shot down by anti-aircraft artillery flak and crashed near Schoondijke, Netherlands. Five crewmembers were killed and five bailed out. Four were taken as POWs and one evaded capture.
