Funeral services for Robert H. Spells Sr., 63, of 105 Poplar St., Monroe, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Spears Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Hughens officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Spears Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Spells died Sunday at E. A. Conway Hospital after a short illness.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lola Spells, Monroe; one son, Robert H. Spells Jr., Morgan City; one step-son, J. F. Roberts, Delhi; four step-daughters, Mrs. Julia Ann Adcock, Rayville, Mrs. Elvie McIntyre, Arcadia, Mrs. Mattie Lee Hines, Longview, Tex., and Mrs. Agatha Smiddley, Duncan, Okla.; three brothers, Clayton Spells of Texas, Ira Spells, Morgan City; Floyd Spells, Tallulah; and two sisters, Mrs. Melissa Cooper of Camden, Ark., and Mrs. Ethel Brown of Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be J. F. Roberts, James Adcock, Harvey L. Gunn, __ Intyre, Johnnie King, Jim Cuthbert and Jeff Kirk.
