Mary Josephine "Mayme" Hennessy Grey, 97, formerly of 1233 S. Sixth St., died Saturday at Hillcreek Manor Nursing Home. She was a retired clerk and switchboard operator for the City of Louisville's tax department and a member of Rosary Altar Society and Women's Democratic Club. Survivors include two brothers, Huck and Edward P. Hennessy; and a sister, Alice Wente. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. Sixth St., with burial in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will be at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday.
