Pascal Green "Pack" DuPree was born in Leon County, Texas to William Starling and Sallie Belle Noble DuPree. His parents are buried in Crawford Cemetery near Slocum, Texas. Pack shares a stone with his wife, Lottie Mae Bell DuPree, who he married 15 June 1910 in Anderson County, Texas. He died in Palestine, Texas where he had resided for most of his life. He was survived by his wife; sons, W. H. Dupree of Freeport and Bobby Gene "Bob" Dupree of Lafayette, LA; daughter, Joy Funderburk of Fort Worth; brother, Leon Dupree of Palestine; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. His obituary appeared in the Palestine Herald-Press, Friday 25 September 1970.
