Mrs. Ollie May Fyffe, 90-year-old, Route 1 Bridgeport resident, died about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 21, 1894, in Lukin Township, a daughter of Josephus and Rachel Wright Foss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Fyffe.

Surviving are one brother, Otis Foss of Bridgeport; two sisters, Elva Lankston of Bridgeport and Helen Wright of Route 1 Sumner; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Fyffe was a former U.S. Mail carrier and cook at Bridgeport Township High School, as well as being a long-time schoolteacher. She was a member of White Shrine of Jerusalem and First Christian Church in Bridgeport where she taught Sunday School 50 years.

Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport with the Rev. Don Renner officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Cemetery.

Friends can call in the funeral home tonight from 6 until 8 p.m.
