Nellie (Adkins) Napier, 85 [corrected to read age 80], of Medina, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at Hospice at The Inn at Medina. She was born in (the Lincoln Mag. District of Wayne Co.) West Virginia, and made her home in Medina County for many years. She was a homemaker, her greatest love being her family. Mrs. Napier also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, working puzzles and bingo, and was a great Indians fan.

She is survived by her sons & daughters-inlaw, Herbert and Ruth of Chippewa Lake, David and Paula of Medina, Jeffrey and Bonnie of Rittman, Randy and Laurie of Medina, and Benny and Judy of Lodi; daughter & son-in-law, Abigail and John Correll of Lodi; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Hester Blake of Wadsworth; and brother, Glen Adkins of Doylestown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Fairbell (Spence) Adkins; brothers, Raymond, Benton and Paul; and sisters, Olive and Alice.

Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Armstrong-Waite Funeral Home, 25 Pleasant St. (SR-3), Seville. The Rev. Jim Winkler will officiate. Interment: Mound Hill Cemetery, Seville.
