Edna Louise Soden was born on June 20, 1909, at Potwin the daughter of Robert Milroy and Clara (Smith) Poe. Louise passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2009, in El Dorado, having reached the age of 99 years, 6 months and 25 days. She spent all her life in Butler County and worked at Graves Drug Store. She also worked for several business people in their homes. She was a member of First Christian Church and loved to travel, play cards and bingo.
On May 28, 1932 she married Clarence Soden in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in November, 1951 after 19 years of marriage.
She leaves her two sons and their wives—Jack and Ada Soden of El Dorado; Jerry and Janice Soden of Mulvane; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
