North - Services for Marion Edward Robinson, 64, of 6502 Salley Road, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at North United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Rucker officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to North United Methodist Church.
Mr. Robinson died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999. Born in Rowesville, he was a son of the late John Gary and Maude Funchess Robinson. He was a farmer and served in the National Guard. He was a member of North United Methodist Church where he was on the Board of Trustees, a member of the Administrative Board and a member of the choir.
Surviving are his wife, Etta Livingston Robinson of North; daughter, Kim (Rusty) Porter of North; sons, Marion Edward Robinson Jr. of North, Daniel Russell Robinson of Livingston; sisters, Margaret Wingard of Aiken, Carolyn Floyd of Orangeburg, Gloria Robinson of North, Linda Rawl of Lexington; brothers, John William Robinson of Livingston and Heyward L. Robinson of North; three grandchildren.
