Mervin Arthur Gunter, 79, passed Away Wednesday December 24, 2008 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville, Indiana
Loving husband of Mary, Dear Father of Donald (Brenda) Daryl (Amy)Ronald (Linda) and Randy Gunter and Sheryl (Steve) Shane all of Batesville. He will be missed by his 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren as well as his2 Brothers Harold and Kendall Gunter of Batesville and his sister Lavonne Huber of Sunman,
Mervin was born on June 2, 1929 to Vernon and Edna (Richter) Gunter in Batesville, Indiana.
He was owner and operator of M. A, Gunter Trucking until 1961 and farmed for many years on his own farms. He married his wife, Mary (HUmmell) on Dec 3, 1949 in Batesville, and was a long time member of ADams Lutheran Church.
In Addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by four Brothers, Estal, DAle, Allen and Bobby Gene Gunter and one sister Velma Belter.
Visitation Sunday 4-7 at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Funeral MOnday, December 29, 2008 at Adams Lutheran Church Friends may also join the FAmily MOnday at 10:00 am for the procession from the Funeral HOme to the Church
