Debbie L. Bishop, 56, of Noel, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at St. John's Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Debbie was born on June 26, 1952 in Fanshawe, Oklahoma to the late Roy and Erma Dean (Davis) Simmons. Debbie has lived in the Noel area for the past 23 years. She worked for Wal-Mart in Jane, MO and in her spare time she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Debbie is survived by her Four sons; Billy Simmons and wife Shelley of Quinlan, TX, Carl Bishop and wife Jennifer of Pineville, MO and Cody Bishop and wife Shelby and Shon Simmons both of Noel, MO. A daughter Mindy Bishop of Noel, MO. Two brothers; Terry Simmons of Panama, OK and Roy Simmons of Cowlington, OK. Two sisters; Carolyn Gee of Paragould, AR and Vicky Swearingin of Pryor, OK. Eleven Grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah Lynn Bishop will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Ozark Funeral Home Chapel in Noel, Missouri with Pastor James Heffernan officiating. Burial will follow in the Noel Cemetery in Noel, Missouri. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers will be Terry Simmons, Justin Hobbs, Brent Martin, and Robert Evenson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday February 16, 2009 from 5 until 7 p.m.
