Christine Anderson Bagley, age 71, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Bagley was born on July 7, 1944, in Douglas, GA to the late Aaron Anderson and Mamie Taylor Anderson.
Survivors include her four sisters, Ann Lott of Nicholls, GA, Maggie Leen Hersey of Nicholls, GA, Nettie Clements of Nicholls, GA and Betty Adams of Rogersville, AL, sister-in-law, Dolphine Anderson of Nicholls, GA, two brothers, Jerry (Thelma) Anderson of Nicholls, GA and Milford (Mary Alice) Anderson of Nicholls, GA, sisters-in-law, Mary Bagley and Ruby Young and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Winston Bagley and brother, Buster Anderson.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Dry Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David Davis, Rev. James Steed and Rev. George O’Berry officiating. Interment will follow at Bagley Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
