He was born May 17, 1912, in Wichita Falls, a son of Wilham (William) M. and Louisa Holzer. He was a retired employee of Wyatt Motor & Brake Inc. and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls.
Survivors include two daughters, Pauline Horn of Fort Worth and Sandra Klinge of Perryton, Texas; four sons, Elbert, Jerry and Jerall, all of Wichita Falls, and Delbert of Oklahoma City; a brother, Joe of San Antonio; and five sisters, Annie Vandruff of Wichita Falls, Rose Cartmell and Jean Bonham, both of California, Agnes Carter of Odessa, Texas, and Maybell Cochrum of Columbus, Texas.
