Mr. Jack B. Pepper, age 80, of Panama City, Fla., died Monday, March 12, 2001, at a local hospital. He was Protestant by faith and was a member of Panama City Elks Lodge No. 1598 and chairman of The Bingo Committee. Mr. Pepper is survived by his wife, Maxine Pepper of Panama City; his mother, Wesley Howard of Florence, Ala.; seven children; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy McIntyre of Florence and a brother, David Pepper of California. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at Garden of Memories with the Rev. Joe Stone officiating. Interment will follow with Elks Rest conducted by Panama City Elks Lodge No. 1598. Honorary pallbearers will include members of the Elks Lodge No. 1598. The family will be receiving friends at their home.
