Mrs. Cruse passed away at 7 a.m., Wednesday, August 18, 1982, in the Tyler County Hospital after an illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Tyler County and the widow of the Late County Judge Lou Cruse.
Survivors include three sons, Rex B. Cruse of San Antonio, Bob F. Cruse of Tyler, and Carl M. Cruse of Virginia, two daughters, Patsy Hubbard of Houston, and Ruby Lou Smitley of Woodville, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Carey Cruse, Clyde J. Cruse, Jr., John B. Smitley, Greer Hubbard, Floyd Morrison, and Jim Klinger.
