Ora Edna (Davenport) Meadows was a gentle, loving wife and mother. Nothing was more important to her than her family.

She taught her boys the importance of family, simply by loving so openly and honestly. She took such joy in the little things in life, and made sure her boys understood that. Words cannot even describe the legacy she left us all.

Ora was an incredible cook. Nobody could hold a candle to her chicken & dumplings, cornbread and beans, biscuits or cobbler.

Ora made beautiful quilts. We all have them still, and will cherish them always, just as our children will when they are passed down.

But, the most cherished gift she left all of us was the simple memory of how much she loved us.

God has a special angel.
