Farrell Reed Gudmundson, age 78, died May 7, 1989 in Salt Lake City.
Born October 6, 1910 in Provo Utah, a son of Samuel and Erma Adella Crandall Gudmundson. Married Gertrude Wood, May 21, 1935 in the St. George LDS Temple. has lived in Provo, Springville, Cedar City, Ephraim, Price and Bountiful. Graduated from Springville High School, Southern Utah State and attended BYU. He was an active member of the LDS Church and had served as Scout Master, Young Men's President, Executive Secretary, and High Priest Group Leader. He has served as President of the Price Rotary club, of the Price Chamber of Commerce, as Price Fire Chief and member of Bountiful Rotary and Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving are his wife, Bountiful, one son and two daughters; Richard F. Gudmundson, Seattle Washington, Susanne G. Hardy, Centerville, Trudy L. Kleinberg, Dallas, Texas, 13 grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters, Crandall Gudmundson, Viewmont, Cal., Clair M. and Keith Gudmundson, both Orem, Leona G. Clark and Barbara G. Limberg, both Springville.
