Verona Morgan Crews, 61, born 21 Mar 1925, of Nahunta, died Tuesday night, 22 Apr 1986, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a long illness.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery near Raybon.
A lifelong resident of Brantley County, her father was the late Landon Ottis Morgan.
She is survived by her mother, Martha Morgan of Nahunta; two daughters, Maxine Cone of Greenville, FL, and Libby Dean Brooker of Nahunta; two sons, J. D. Crews of St. Marys, and Danny Crews of Nahunta; three sisters, Sarah Harris and Gertie Knox , both of Nahunta, and Myrtis Harris of Waynesboro; a brother, J. L. Morgan of Nahunta; seven grandchildren and other relatives.
Chambless Funeral Home of Nahunta was in charge of arrangements.
