Miss Lelah I. Hape of Taneytown, died at a local nursing and convalescent center Tuesday. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Betty Biddinger Hape. She is survived by one nephew, Paul Shorb of Taneytown and two great nieces. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Taneytown. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Skiles Funeral Home, Taneytown with Rev. Emil Gustafson from Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight.

Lelah I. Hape was the sister of the following children of George W. Hape, Jr. and Elizabeth E. "Betty" Biddinger:

1. Walter F.; 2. Charlotte M. "Lottie" 3. Anna Amy (m. Elmer C. Shorb) and 4. Earlin B. Hape
