Elizabeth Lillian Herrington, 83, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Herrington was a resident of Clay County since 1964 and a lifelong member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church. She was also very active in the Central Association of the Miraculous Metal. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Frank Herrington and her son, Wayne Herrington. Survivors include her sons, Frank Herrington (Cheryl) and John Herrington; daughter, Lydia Herrington Markley; grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Brian, Patrick and Andrew; great grandchildren, Tyler, Blake, Brooke and Owen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007, 2:00 PM at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park, FL 32073 with Rev. James Boddie, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery in Middleburg. Family and friends will visit at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL on Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 2 until 4 PM. A Vigil Service will be held at 2 PM.
