Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Williams-White Columns Funeral Home, Gordon, GA. Shirley Ann Tollison, 73, of Gordon, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Daughter of the late S.L. and Lois Shaffer Harper, she was born in Bibb County, and had made her home in Baldwin County for most of her life. Preceded in death by her husband, John Tollison, Mrs. Tollison was a homemaker and member of Westview Baptist Church. Survivors: Sons, George "Ed" (Brenda) Tollison, Milledgeville; Malcolm (Carla) Tollison, Gordon; Sisters, June Pettis, Shelby Barbee, Nita Ballard, and Cookie Pelt, all of Macon; Peggy Purdue, Jacksonville, FL; Brother, Al Harper, Jacksonville, FL; four Grandchildren, four Great-Grandchildren.
