EMMA GARMAN, widow of the late Emanuel Garman, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Albright, Brodbeck's, Pa., on April 22, 1949, after an illness of six weeks, a week of which she was bedfast.
At death she had reached the ripe old age of 85 years, 6 months, and 18 days.
Born by the name of Baumgardner, she was the last of her family.
Mrs. Garman was a faithful member of St. Jacob's Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mabel Albright, with whom she lived; five grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her funeral was held on April 25th with a short service at the home, followed by a public service in St. Jacob's Church. Burial was made there.
