EDINBURGH -- Gail Marie Burton, 43, of Edinburgh died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at her home.
She was employed by Thornton Oil Co. in Taylorsville and previously worked as a teacher's aide at Eastside Elementary School.
Funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Whited officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charities.
Mrs. Burton was born in Bell County, Ky., June 16, 1956, the daughter of Ray and Margie West Thomas of Edinburgh.
Other survivors include a daughter, Stacey Renee Cravens of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Courtney and Cameron Cravens; brothers, William Ray Thomas Jr. of Edinburgh and James Wayne Thomas of Flat Rock; and sisters, Mildred Douglas and Barbara Rooks, both of Edinburgh, and Wanda Evans of Flat Rock.
