Mrs. Corda Ellen Garrison, 86 years old, was dead on arrival at a local hospital Wednesday, October 30, 1963. She was a resident of the Lafe and Newport area prior to moving to Van Buren a number of years ago.
Survivors are her husband S. H Garrison of the family home. 1503 Poplar street, Van Buren; one son Jess C. of Van Buren; two daughters Inez of clara, Illinois and Marie of Oklahoma City; 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Saturday afternoon in Ocker Funeral Home chapel. Orville Haley pastor of the North Side Baptist church was the officiating minister. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.
