Leta N. Krausch, nee Stancil, 89, Labadie, died Sunday, July 30, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Kirkwood.

Mrs. Krausch, daughter of the late Joseph Stancil and wife Maude, nee Benson, was born March 8, 1911, at Pacific. She received her education in Pacific and graduated from the eighth grade in Pittsburg, Kansas.

On January 24, 1931, she was united in marriage to Armin Krausch at Union.

Along with her husband, Mrs. Krausch helped operate Krausch's Processing Company.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sons, Donald "Skip," Sonny and Orville "Butch" Krausch; three brothers, Glen and Orville Stancil, and an infant brother; two sisters, Edna Poertner and Dorothy Stancil; and by one grandson, Robert Krausch.

Among her survivors are her husband, Armin Krausch; one son, David Krausch, Michigan; three daughters, Linda Kovis and husband Bob, Eureka, Jane Ward and husband Don, Iowa, and Barbara Milliard and husband Mike, Kansas; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Krausch, Villa Ridge; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Krueger, House Springs, and Ada Krausch, St. Louis; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 1, at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific, with Rev. Ronald David officiating. Interment was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Catawissa.
