Robert D. Eads, 68, Kokomo, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 1983, in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Kokomo.
Born Sept. 11, 1915, in Bloomington, he was the son of William and Lela Leake Eads. On May 24, 1947, he was married to Lois Jean Phiefer, who survives.
Also surviving are six sons, including Frederick Eads, Galveston; two daughters; two sisters; a half sister; 26 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A half brother is deceased.
Burial will be in Tetersburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
